Review | Etude House I Need You, Green Tea! Sheet Mask

Today's review is going to be on Etude House's I Need You, Green Tea! sheet mask. If there was another particular ingredient in skin care I love, besides aloe vera, it will definitely have to be green tea. Green tea has so many good benefits for our skin and it is so rich in anti-oxidants. One of my all time favourite serums is Innisfree's Green Tea Seed Serum. I've been using it for more than a year already and I'm still loving it.

As a result, I had high hopes for this particular mask!

Let's start with some specifics as usual.

This mask is from Etude House and it is their I Need You, Green Tea! Mask Sheet (Moisture & Relief).

This mask contains 0.67 fl. oz. / 20 ml.

This mask sheet contains green tea extract (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract), providing moist and comforting relief to sooth out rough and irritated skin.

[Directions]
  1. Apply toner to skin after cleansing.
  2. Remove mask from pouch and apply to face, placing mask to for eye and lip area.
  3. Remove mask after 10~15 minutes and lightly massage remaining solution into skin with hands.

[Caution]
  1. For external use only.
  2. Avoid contact with eyes.
  3. Keep out of reach of children.
  4. Discontinue use if signs of irritation and/or rash appear.

The scent of this mask is pretty light, nothing overpowering. The essence is also really lightweight although it isn't as runny as the essence in the aloe vera mask. More of a really light gel than water.

Overall:

PROS:
  • Affordable
  • Light scent, nothing overpowering
  • Cooling on the skin
  • Provides moisture

CONS:
  • Bad fit
  • Nothing really special

Unlike the aloe vera mask, this mask is much more hydrating although not it is definitely not rich. This mask is definitely for people with combination/oily skin. If you have dry skin, or if you stay in a dry climate, then this mask may not provide enough moisture for your skin. It is a pretty good pick-me-up for days when you skin just needs an extra bit of moisture but you don't want an overly hydrating mask.
